MUNICH - The European Patent Office (EPO) has published a dedicated dashboard presenting our key performance indicators (KPIs) in quality, a press release stated by EPO.

Based on targeted actions and clear, well-defined KPIs, the dashboard will enhance transparency by providing quarterly updates on quality and user satisfaction. The KPIs cover search, examination, opposition, Boards of Appeal (BoA) outcomes and digitalization. The dashboard will eventually provide charts that indicate the evolution of our performance against targets.

Our Quality Action Plan 2024 will be also published shortly and will define actions for the year ahead to improve further the quality of our products and services at every stage of the patent granting process (PGP), enhance learning from BoA outcomes and strengthen dialogue with our users. The EPO and industry stakeholders continue to take a collaborative approach, engaging in active, open and constructive dialogue to enhance the already high quality of the PGP at the Office.
