Abu-Ghazaleh Receives Founding President of the Bosphorus Summit

AMMAN - HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh received in his office Mr. Cengiz Özgendil the founding president of the International Cooperation Platform (ICP) which organizes the Bosphorus Summit since 2010.
 
During the meeting, Mr. Özgendil stated that the seventh annual Bosphorus Summit has designated ICP Honorary President Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh with the task of leading the resolution to establish the “The Future We Want World Council”.

ICP also designated Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh to invite UN Secretary General to the next 8th Bosphorus Summit emphasizing that the theme of the Summit will be “The Future World We Want”, and to also invite him to be the honorary patron of the Summit with HE the President of Turkey.

Mr. Özgendil also conveyed to Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh the greetings and support of President of Turkey HE Recep Tayyip Erdogan. 

The mission of the Bosphorus Summit is to enhance proactive multilateral and inter-disciplinary cooperation and stimulate a new level of global cooperation.

The ICP is an independent institution founded with the principle of enhancing proactive multilateral and inter-disciplinary cooperation for sustainable development. Created as a platform without borders, ICP takes a productive approach in tackling with pressing issues and opportunities alike and is dedicated to reaching a shared understanding of vital interests that will lay the common grounds for stimulating a new level of global cooperation.

At the end of the meeting, Mr. Özgendil presented to Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh a unique piece of art in appreciation of His Excellency’s role in enhancing the mission of the ICP. It is a limited edition Sultani tulip-shaped vase on which the two faces of the first gold Ottoman coin appears.
