PARIS, France and DARMSTADT, Germany - Andy Wiedlin, the Chief Revenue Officer of BuzzFeed, and Fernando Magalhães Portella, the CEO of one of Brazil’s fastest growing private holding companies, set the tone for Digital Media Europe, the continent’s premier digital publishing conference focused on premium content strategies, digital advertising, mobile platforms, classifieds and more.

Andy Wiedlin is responsible for leading revenue growth and audience outreach at BuzzFeed, which has emerged as a leading social news organization, focused on delivering original reporting, insight, and viral content across a rapidly expanding array of subject areas. Prior to joining BuzzFeed, Mr Wiedlin was Senior Vice President of Sales at the Huffington Post, where he pioneered the concept of social news, built a successful sales team, developed a market strategy and defined social marketing products.

Fernando Magalhães Portella leads one of the fastest growing private investment groups in Brazil, with total assets of US$ 43 billion and net revenues of US$ 16 billion. Before joining Jereissati, Portella served as the chief executive officer of Organização Jaime Camara, where he transformed the publishing company; his presentation will focus on how media businesses can run a truly end-to-end digital operation.
