TAGSB Awarded “Best Educational Institute in Administration” by the World Education Congress

DUBAI - Talal Abu-Ghazaleh Graduate School of Business (TAGSB) has been honored with an award of "Best Educational Institute in Administration in Asia by the World Education Congress Asia Awards 2011, global awards for excellence in education, leadership and teaching in a special ceremony at the Taj Palace Hotel in Dubai.

The prestigious award honors winners who are selected by a Global Research Cell that constitutes professionals from different parts of the globe. The criteria used by the jury for selecting the winners are comprised of primary data, current students’ perceptions and the perception of graduates who hold positions in various organizations in addition to social media. 



HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh, TAGSB chairman said: "We are really excited to be honored for our efforts and standards. The Award is very special because TAGSB is considered a very young institution. Our gratitude goes to all the staff and students of this one of a kind educational institution."

Meanwhile, Prof. Hesham Gharaibeh, Dean of TAGSB said: "This is great honor and we owe everything to the vision of HE Dr. Talal Abu-Ghazaleh who through his wise directions and relentless efforts we managed to make TAGSB what it is today. This Award goes to HE Dr. Abu-Ghazaleh, our dear students and staff."

Senior leaders, top educational institutes from India, Singapore, Malaysia, Pakistan, Philippines, Korea, Japan, China, Bahrain, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Hong Kong, Sri Lanka, Oman, UAE, Nepal in addition to Jordan attended the event.

TAGSB, founded in 2006, is the first school of its kind that represents a partnership between the private and public sectors in the Arab world. It was established to provide educational opportunities at the highest international standards. In 2009, the Foundation for International Business Administration Accreditation (FIBAA), a Swiss non-profit agency for quality assurance with operative branches in Bonn (Germany) and Zurich (Switzerland), granted TAGSB/German-Jordanian University (GJU) a five-year accreditation to its MBA program with concentrations in: Marketing, Accounting, Management, Banking and Finance, Quality Management and Human Resources Management.

The World Education Congress Asia Awards are presented by the Asian Confederation of Businesses, with CMO Asia as its strategic partner and Stars of the Industry Group as a research partner.
