READING UK - Norbain announced the appointment of Tim Field as business development executive (BDE) to support the highly successful Panasonic range of products.

Tim has worked for Norbain in a sales capacity for the last nine years, developing a detailed understanding of the technologies and products available on the market. His role will include promoting the Panasonic brand throughout Norbain by engaging with the sales teams, nurturing key accounts and providing customer demonstrations.

“I am thrilled to have been offered the opportunity to work with a brand that is so well known for quality and innovation,” says Tim. “It offers a strong analogue portfolio and is becoming increasingly active in IP – from entry level right through to fully functional managed security solutions.”

Buzz Coates, divisional director of branded CCTV at Norbain, comments: “Bringing Tim on board as Panasonic BDE shows the level of commitment we believe is essential in best supporting our brands and, ultimately, our customers.”

With annual revenues in excess of £100 million and growing, Norbain SD is one of Europe’s most successful distributors of CCTV, IP Video, Access Control and Intruder Detection equipment.

Headquartered in Reading, Berkshire, the company employs over 250 people throughout the UK in various sales offices and at its distribution centre in Manchester. Each year, the company's International Sales division sells into 77 countries across 5 continents.
