ANA Extends Deadline for 11th Annual Multicultural Excellence Awards to August 26

NEW YORK, NY - The Association of National Advertisers (ANA) announced in a press release that it has extended the deadline for accepting entries for its 11th annual Multicultural Excellence Awards to August 26th. The awards recognize marketers and their agencies for their work in producing superior multicultural advertising and marketing campaigns. 

Winners will be announced at the ANA's 13th Annual Multicultural Marketing & Diversity Conference, November 6-8 in Miami, FL. For a campaign to be eligible, it must have appeared between June 2010 and June 2011. 

"For 11 years we've been fortunate to enjoy innovative campaigns targeting an ever growing multicultural market," said Gilbert Dávila, chairperson of the ANA's Multicultural Marketing & Diversity Committee.
"With the latest Census results recently released, we know how important it is for marketers to capture the attention of the various multicultural groups that make up the changing face of America. With the competition for ANA's Multicultural Excellence Awards increasing every year, we look forward to witnessing more impressive campaigns than ever before. Personally, I'm excited to be part of the selection process." 

This year, the ANA will review submissions to reflect excellence in key multicultural and media categories, as well as overall business performance.

• Asian
• General Market
• Hispanic
• LGBT 

Media: 

• Digital Media
• Radio
• Print 

Significant Business Results 

Companies and agencies are encouraged to submit multiple entries within a category or across multiple categories. For additional rules, fees and submission guidelines, interested parties can go to www.ana.net/awards. The extended deadline for submissions is August 26, 2011. 

A portion of the proceeds collected from the awards submission fees are used to fund scholarships for high-potential multicultural students planning to pursue careers in advertising and marketing.
