MANAMA - Abu-Ghazaleh Intellectual Property (AGIP) announced in a press release that the Implementing Regulations for Industrial Drawings and Designs Law No. 6 of 2006 have been issued in Bahrain in the Official Gazette No. 2936 dated February 25, 2010 with immediate effect.
The Implementing Regulations have increased the official fees for the design matters including filing new applications, renewals and other recordals.
Regarding annuities’ payment, the Bahraini Industrial Property Office (IPO) has informed AGIP Bahrain Office today that they will issue a notification once they start accepting the annuities for design matters.
