SPSS Settles Litigation with Norman H. Nie

CHICAGO - SPSS Inc. announced in a press release that it has reached a settlement with Norman H. Nie regarding the previously disclosed litigation involving the SPSS trademark currently pending in the US District Court for the Northern District of Illinois. The settlement included the related litigation seeking indemnification and advancement of expenses currently pending in the Delaware Chancery Court.

Terms of the settlement were not disclosed and the Company will have no further comment on the issue.

SPSS Inc. is a leading global provider of Predictive Analytics software and solutions.
