AnaSpec Awarded Patent for HiLyte FluorTM Dyes

SAN JOSE, CA - AnaSpec Inc., a leading provider of integrated proteomics solutions, announced that the US Patent and Trademark Office has issued the company patent number 7,465,810 for “Reactive 1,3’-Crosslinked Carbocyanines and their Bioconjugates.”

This patent covers the AnaSpec family of HiLyte FluorTM high performance fluorescent dyes.

HiLyte FluorTM dyes are sold individually and have been incorporated into AnaSpec’s other products including SensoLyteTM long-wavelength assay kits, AnaTagTM labeling kits, labeled primary and secondary antibodies, labeled streptavidin and labeled peptides.
