WATERLOO, ONTARIO, CANADA - TurboSonic Technologies Inc., a leading provider of air pollution control technologies, announced in a Wednesday press release that it has been granted two new US patents related to the company’s Wet Electrostatic Precipitator (WESP) technology.
The company has been granted a patent for a method for improved mist elimination, which is employed in TurboSonic’s SonicKleen WESP systems and offered as an upgrade to solve operational problems in competitor’s WESP equipment.
The second patent recently granted is for a process improvement in biomass dryer emissions control. The innovation reduces maintenance and fire hazards, and is employed primarily in the manufactured wood and biomass pelletizing industries.
